Thank You for Rounding Up in 2020!
Your 2020 Round Up donations provided healthy food for kids and families served by eight Community Food Partners.
• New in 2020, your roundups supported food insecure seniors through Meals on Wheels Orange County and an expanded program of Orange Congregations in Mission.
• Your Round Up contributions during June raised $24,383 for three Black partner organizations chosen by our EQUITY Alliance: Emancipate NC, NC Black Alliance, and the Black Farmers’ Market. We continue to sell Justice for George buttons, which raised $14,240 in 2020.
The need is greater than ever, so consider rounding up more in 2021
The need is greater than ever, and each of our partners is attempting to expand the number of kids and families that they serve. At the same time, fewer shopping trips means fewer roundups. To close this gap, please consider giving a little more in 2021:
- Top Off Your Purchase: Add $2, $5, or any amount to your in-store purchase.
- Add Round-up Tokens to Your Online Shopping Cart: Tokens are $1. Look for tokens on the main shopping page.
Our 2021 Round Up goal is to raise $400,000 for our community food partners.
In keeping with our focus on racial equity, we’ll add at least one new Community Food Partner that focuses on hunger relief for Black communities.
Our Promise: 100% for healthy food for the kids and families served by our Community Food Partners.
We source the food at our cost. Often our producers and farmers discount the costs for our community partners. The food is the same quality and freshness as the food sold to you in our stores.
