Emily in our marketing office shared that this is her new favorite smoothie recipe, inspired by Seal the Seasons’s frozen peaches. (Read more about Seal the Seasons on our blog.) She always assumed a peach smoothie needed some berries, until she made one with straight peaches. Be sure to use local Carolina Culture yogurt for the best taste imaginable.
Ingredients:
- 2-3 handfuls of frozen peaches
- 1/2 to 1 c. plain yogurt
- dollop of maple syrup
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth. If you don’t have a fancy blender, you may need to stop it a few times to mash the frozen parts down; alternatively, let the peaches thaw a bit before blending. Sometimes a frozen peach escapes and you find it lurking in your smoothie like an added bonus!
