An easy, slightly sweet spread that makes a great appetizer. Made with local goat cheese!
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. Holly Grove Farms plain chevre
- ½ c. honey
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 1/8 tsp. cardamom
- dash nutmeg – optional
- ¼ c. slivered almonds – optional
Directions:
1) Mix all ingredients, except almonds, together in a medium sized bowl until well blended.
2) Serve topped with almonds, if so desired. Serve with crackers.
