These brownies are packed with immunity boosting goodies but are just as gooey and decadent as you might hope!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 c. cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4. c rolled oats, ground
- 15 oz. can of garbanzo beans, well drained
- 1/2 c. nut butter of your choice
- 1/2 c. honey, maple syrup, or sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease an 8×8 baking pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, add cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and ground oats. Stir to combine.
- In a blender or food processor combine garbanzo beans, nut butter, and sweetener. Process until smooth.
- Pour garbanzo bean mixture into cocoa powder mixture and stir. Make sure all dry ingredients are well incorporated.
- Add vanilla, salt, cinnamon, turmeric and stir again to combine.
- Gently stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread mixture into the greased baking pan and place in the oven.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick tester in center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool.
