The PRIDE Month totals are in!

Our first annual Pride Month promotion raised $8,700! These funds will be donated equally between the LGBTQ Center of Durham, LGBTQ Center of Raleigh, iNSIDEoUT, and QTIPOC Survival Fund

Weaver Street shoppers came out in full support for Pride Month. The Pride Month fundraiser encouraged shoppers to choose items that contribute anywhere from 10¢ to $10.00 to the fund, which will be distributed to our four partner organizations. This year, Locopops topped the list of items purchased at over 4,000!!!! frozen treats flying out the door; the next most popular item was Weaver Street’s Rainbow Jumbo Cupcakes, with 724 going home for dessert or enjoyed right on the spot. Weaver Street Rainbow Conchas and Rainbow Chopped Salad, JP’s vegan pastries, Chapel Hill Creamery cheeses, Cool Haus Ice Cream, and NEW Open Water all made a great showing, at close to 500 items each! Plus, shoppers have purchased 334 PRIDE Buttons at a whopping $10.00 each donation to the fund. What a terrific show of support for our community.
