Make these sweet and tasty pecans with local Indian Springs Pecans. They’re a wonderful addition to your holiday party or will make a terrific gift!
- 1 lb. Indian Springs Pecans – Sale $14.99/lb. – Save $1.00
- 1 egg white
- 4 teaspoons water
- 1 tablespoon Simply Organic Vanilla extract – Sale $14.99/4 oz. – Save $5.50
- 1 cup Wholesome Organic Raw Cane Turbinado Sugar – Sale $3.99/2 lbs. -Save $2.50
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Spread pecans on a baking sheet and bake at 275 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let pecans cool.
- Meanwhile in a large bowl mix together egg white, water, vanilla, sugar and salt. Beat until foamy.
- Add cooled pecans to the bowl and toss to coat. Pour coated pecans onto parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake again, stirring once or twice during baking time, until lightly browned and crunchy. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Serve at room temperature or package in airtight containers for storage or for giving.
