Whipping cream cheese with rich Greek yogurt creates a thick, sumptuous substitute for ordinary whipped cream. With Cabot’s recipe for whipped yogurt cream, you can create delicious parfaits, dollop it on a bowl of fresh berries or use it atop your favorite dessert. Helpful tip: Avoid messy spatters by setting the bowl in the sink when whipping. Makes about 2 1/2 cups. Recipe from Cabot Creamery.
Ingredients:
- 1 (8-ounce) package Cabot cream cheese
- 1/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 cup Cabot 2% vanilla bean Greek-style yogurt
Directions:
Beat cream cheese in medium bowl with electric mixer for about 1 minute until softened; add confectioner’s sugar and beat until smooth and well combined, stopping to scrape down side of bowl as needed.
Add yogurt and beat for a minute or two longer until mixture is smooth and fluffy, scraping bowl again. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
