They came, they saw, they wienered… dozens of wiener dogs and an estimated 300 dog owners and spectators gathered yesterday afternoon for the annual Wiener Dog Day on our lawn in Carrboro. Sponsored by the Dachshund Rescue of North America, Wiener Dog Day included a [somewhat small, circular] parade, a costume contest, and fun activities for little dogs.
