This month’s wine show ticket sales raised $10,502 for the Cooperative Community Fund. This money will build the fund, which is a sustainable endowment fund that currently has over $200,000. The fund’s interest is awarded each year to local nonprofits to do community projects that focus on access to healthy food.
In addition, the raffle for a case of wine raised $865, which was matched by Coastal Federal Credit Union for a total of $1,730. This money will be added to the pot for this year’s grants.
