Piedmont Farm Tour tickets are now on sale!
About the Tour
Every spring, local farmers open their farms to visitors during the Piedmont Farm Tour. Visitors can learn about sustainable agriculture and farmstead cheese, see baby animals, gather eggs, and enjoy the beauty of Piedmont farms. They can meet the people who grow their food and see how it is grown.
Farm Tour participants buy a button that enables a carload (or a group of bicyclists) to visit all the farms. The tour is self-guided; use the tour brochure or CFSA’s interactive map to plan your visits to maximize your time at the farms. We suggest visiting 2 to 4 each day. The tour occurs RAIN OR SHINE.
Get Your Ticket
This year’s tour is on April 28 and 29 from 2 to 6 PM. Buttons are now on sale in our stores ($30 in advance, $35 at the farm). You can also get them online from CFSA here.
Pick up a brochure (they’re delayed but will be in stores in a few days) and plan your visits now.

Volunteer and Tour for Free!
Interested in volunteering? As a Piedmont Farm Tour Volunteer, you’ll staff a registration table, checking in visitors and helping ensure that everyone steps through foot dips and uses hand-washing devices at farms with animals. You’ll receive a free, limited edition tour T-shirt and a free button to take the tour on the day that you aren’t volunteering. Read more and sign up at CFSA’s website.
