December weekends are filled with holiday parties, from the office bash to A Christmas Story movie night to the annual neighborhood caroling. When it starts to seem like you only have time for (a) baking for the party or (b) actually attending the party, we’ll help you with ready-to-gift hostess gifts. Several of our Hope for the Holidays items make perfect gifts, and with each you purchase, we’ll make a donation to promote access to healthy food.
A Weaver Street Market stollen is a decadent bread filled with sherry-soaked dried fruits, made every December at our bread bakery. They’re perfect for breakfast or dessert, served with butter or just as they are. This year, the stollen come in a decorative gift box. (Read more.)
Our poinsettias are locally grown at Multiflora Greenhouses in Hillsborough. We’ve got several shades from red to white. Include these tips for a long-lasting poinsettia with the gift.
Holiday wrapped PEACEstachios are a Weaver Street tradition. The bags of pistachios are ribboned and ready to go. This year, we have both salted and unsalted.
Organic extra virgin Nefeli olive oil is the perfect gift for someone who likes to cook. This oil comes to us from farmer-owned, organically farmed olive groves on the Island of Crete, which has its own unique microclimate and geography that contribute to the flavor of the oil. A collaboration with the importer has enabled us to carry it at a great price. (Read more.)
Waxed bricks of Cabot Creamery aged cheddar are a new Hope for the Holidays item. Cabot is a co-op, like us; by buying directly, we’re able to offer these fine cheeses at a great price. We have both 16- and 24-month aged bricks.
A bottle of Altas Cumbres Malbec or Viognier.
