Here at Weaver Street Market, we’ve always been focused on bringing great value to our customers. You know that we work hard to find locally made products for our stores, connecting customers to the farmers and artisans that make North Carolina’s food system so special. We offered fair trade coffee and chocolate before most grocery operators knew what fair trade meant. Not only do we have the widest range of fair trade, we also work directly with producer co-ops to be sure that our business has the best possible impact for all parties. But, you’ve told us over and over that price is important, and we haven’t been as good at price as the big guys like Trader Joe’s. We’ve been working hard to find the best possible product line that offers great quality and excellent value pricing, and the Field Day brand fits the bill!
Field Day is a “controlled label program” that is owned by our primary grocery supplier. Most of the product line is certified organic and non-GMO Project verified, so it comes with the values you require. The product line includes many pantry staples at lower prices to fill your cabinets even on a limited food budget. Weaver Street Market is participating in this special program in partnership with many co-ops around the country; this enables us to offer you these high-quality products at rock-bottom prices! Our goal is to use the Field Day brand as a major component of our Co-op Basics program, which gives our valued customers great prices on staples that you need every day.
We’re excited to be able to offer organic cereal at under $3 per box every day, and gallons of organic apple juice for $9.99. Shop the range of products! There are great options in every grocery aisle, from apple cider vinegar to paper towels to creamy mac and cheese. Additional products are being introduced every month, and Weaver Street Market is adding them as soon as they’re available. You don’t have to wait for a sale to stock up, as these items are priced below other brands’ sale prices every day. I know that once you’ve tried them, you will be as excited about Field Day as I am.
Our Demo Team will be in stores this Sunday (January 17) sampling Stuffed Sweet Mini Peppers made with Cabot Creamery cheese and a variety of Field Day products: golden crackers, salsa, salt, and pasta sauce. Look for them from 11 to 2 in Carrboro and Hillsborough and from 3 to 6 in Southern Village.
