Our holiday menu includes smoked half hams and petite hams. These Weaver Meats hams are hickory smoked in-house at our Food House in Hillsborough. They are seasoned with garlic, rosemary, and juniper berries and are cured for two to three weeks.
The hams are a direct result of a collaboration between The Pig restaurant in Chapel Hill and Weaver Street Market, aimed at utilizing whole animals to allow you to shop “nose-to-tail.” They come from hogs raised here in North Carolina without the use of antibiotics or hormones. The hams come from the same animals as the pork chops, roasts, and other raw cuts available in all our stores. Other products in this line include The Pig BBQ, hog dogs, and bacon, which you can find in a cooler near the produce department, and Lady Edison extra fancy country ham, The Pig bologna, and Weaver Meats beef salami, found in the deli and sliced to order!
